In this third installment of the blockbuster movie The John Wick series, John Wick is still out for revenge on his rogue ex-fiancee and the gangster who killed his own daughter. If you think the first two movies were fun, you will enjoy this one just as much. If you loved the first two movies, I am sure you will love the third one.
In John Wick: Chapter Three, John Wick is still out for revenge and vengeance against the men who killed his wife and daughter, and he has set up shop in a small hamlet where he has once again met with more violence. However, he is not completely out of tricks. There are still many people waiting for the mysterious Santa Muerte to come and kill all of them.
In John Wick: Chapter Three, an American undercover cop (Daveed Diggs) finds himself forced to seek out the help of the local Juarez drug cartels in order to stop John Wick from once again killing innocent civilians. Fortunately, they bring along their henchmen.
John Wick: Chapter Three does a great job of making the main characters in John Wick 2 very different. Instead of Wick's ex-fiancee getting pregnant with his daughter's child, here, her new boyfriend decides to murder her anyway. However, since we never saw his face, we never know if he is a good guy or a bad guy.
In John Wick: Chapter Three, Santo Muerte is still out to kill everyone John Wick has ever known, and he comes to Wick looking for revenge. Of course, Santo is seeking revenge on Wick because Wick killed his daughter, and Santo wants revenge so he does not have to wait around until Wick has finally died. By the end of the movie, John Wick has to shoot Santo and get away with it, before he turns into the villain Santo has always been.
It is apparent that this movie was so popular because John Wick is no longer just a basic action flick. The John Wick series is filled with characters that are as well developed as any other TV show, and it seems that the directors have learned lessons from their previous two movies.
This movie is a real cracker. It is filled with action and gore, and there are many "boom" moments throughout the movie. The set pieces are great, and I really enjoyed watching a movie about a badass hero fight off bad guys.
The Verdict: If you like a good action movie and want to see a good sequel to John Wick, then you should definitely see this movie. The action is entertaining, and the characters are well developed. So, if you love action, then you should really check this movie out.
